Ok. So it starts lyk this. I actually started out more so into the coding aspect of web design. (I remember the excitement of learning how to change the scrollbar colors, lol, but newayz...) The first site I ever made was for a guild on neo called Faeries Inc. and it was on hometown aol. I think it's still around. Also around that time I decided to make a graphics site. I called Painted Roses cuz...well I don't know. Well, newayz, it was cool, ppl visited and stuff but no one really used any graphics ya know? I know now that it's cuz they looked lyk crap. Newayz, I realized that this wasn't really going anywhere and my guild was ( 90+ members at the time) so I got rid of Painted Roses and went back to maintaining my guild.

Then about a year or two later I decided to start back with graphic sites (My graphics got better btw!) I this time tho, collabed with another kid and we made a site called Graphical Faeries this time on Freewebs. Well we made the site and with other various staff. It was almost as bad as Painted Roses minus the fact that we got 1 request and sum of the background had been used.

Although Graphical Faeries didn't work out, I realized that I like freewebs hosting services and I sum what enjoyed making these designs for other people (no matter how bad the "designs" looked =} ) so I made a new site called Polkadotz. So I planned out my site as I wanted it to be. And then, ya know, I realise why my other sites didn't do so well: I didn't know how to design graphics too well. So, well, if ya aint good at something, it can show. LOL. This is what my first layout pretty much looked like this
But hey, it was my first so dont knock it =)
The coding however was really good, for a 12 year old. I coded image maps, css, html, frames and so I was happy. I had Polkadotz for about a year maybe and the later layouts look more like this
So I was still not great at it, but it was better than the older ones lol
Well neways at this time now Polkadotz has actually grown into something good. Now I aint gonna lie and say it was a "huge hit" but I did have a fairly decent amount of traffic towards my site. The site itself also had grown content wise. I mean I had games, contests, banners, backgrounds, website layouts, guild layouts. I actually had alot. Too much for me even. So once again I tried staff. It worked out ok at first cuz everyone was all lyk; "Yeah! Imma be on EVERYDAY!!!" "I'm gonna make tons of new things" "I will make this site even better!"....and yadda and yadda and yadda. It's amazing how hard people can make it to contact them after a while huh?? Look...I didnt mean to bother nobody...but hey, I just though a "break" OF ALMOST THREE MONTHS was long enough to "go wash Fluffy". Maybe it's just me. Well I only had one active staff member, Jess who actually did make graphics and stuff. But she decide to make her own site and =( I even helped her code it, too. So we still cool to this day.
So with inactive staff and the traffic towards the site slowing down rapidly I decided to go on hiatus and re-vamp the staff-less (excluding myself) site and once again, make it better than it once was. Well, it almost happened like that lol.

I was on the floor at my house thinking about what changes really needed to be made and I realized that I actually hated the name Polkadotz. It was stupid to me. Pointless even. (Dramatic huh =) ) So I'm fussing to myself and I guess my mom heard me and she's like; "You are going to drive yourself crazy stressing over that site." Hmm. Crazy? Like as in insane? Insane asylum. Eww. No. Wait. Asylum! Yea. It's so weird that it catches your interest. Yea. I liked it.
